Did you remember to "Fall Back" AND change the batteries in your smoke alarm? Collierville Fire Chief Jerry Crawford says smoke detectors are essential to save lives. "In the 40 years that I have been fighting fires, there would not have been a fire related injury or fatality in a home if they had a working smoke detector." Read more from the CFD.

Children and adults ranging from 8 to 80 are needed; singing and dancing is required. Auditions are Sat. Nov. 7, 2015 and Sat. Nov. 14, 2015 by appointment; the production will run in February. Read more details here.

Collierville Middle ends Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a bang! Three students (pictured) wrote a teacher a letter asking to do something special to raise money for breast cancer awareness. It turned into a school-wide event raising $3,000! Read the story here.
Hundreds of trick-or-treaters visit Town Square for annual event. Both the Collierville Fire and Police Departments participated in the festivities; Lt. David Townsend (pictured) with the Police Department said he ran out of candy after handing out 900 pieces!
This Saturday is the Morton Museum's "Spotlight Saturday" featuring community artists; from 10am-4pm at the Museum; see more here. Tunes and Tales with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra is at 11am at the Collierville Library; the Library is holding a Shred-It event Sat. Nov. 14 from 9am-12pm.
A total of 92 Town employees received CPR/AED certification last month. These classes were offered for free to employees by trained instructors from the Collierville Fire Department; this initiative was started by the Town's Safety Committee.
